Critical Race & Postcolonial Geographies

Geography 576

This seminar is a work in progress, one that changes according to student interests and opportunities for collaboration. Specifically:
  • Winter 2021  will be a co-facilitated microseminar with JM Wong on Abolition Geographies, framed around Dr. Ruth Wilson Gilmore's distinguished Katz lecture at UW Seattle in February 2021.
  • Winter 2022 will be a co-facilitated seminar with Jean Dennison on Indigenous Methodologies
  • In future years, I look forward to rethinking the work of the seminar in conversation with my amazing new colleagues, Carrie Freshour & Kessie Alexandre....
